Having someone available will allow the driver to know exactly where the container is to be placed. Otherwise, the driver will use their best judgment to find an accessible area that is safe and secure. If the container is not placed in an acceptable spot because no one was available on-site, additional fees may be applied to place the container in the desired area. When a removal is scheduled, the area must be unobstructed, so the driver can have access to the container. If the container is not accessible, additional fees will be applied.
What is the ton limit for my container?
This amount varies and is dependent upon the weight of the materials being disposed. Typical trash, wood, and aluminum are lightweight items, so the container can be filled more with these. Cement and soil are much heavier and will weigh the container down much quicker. Before deciding to add any heavy materials to the container, contact a Dumpster Central customer service representative at (877)-209-0222 for guidance. Never fill the container above the water level, regardless of the materials inside.
Will additional weight in the rented container cost me extra?
Yes. Additional fees will be applied if the weight goes above the maximum tonnage listed on the rental agreement.
